Extremely disappointed. I have been going to the Kirby location for years for the excellent ice cream. Today, I see they did away with all the original flavors. The espresso new version is a joke! Almost none have nuts and the ice cream is like a bad imitation of Blue Bell ice cream with crappy chocolate chips. Won’t be returning.
Customer service has gone downhill since the new owners. The place is not the same. I have gift cards, that the new registers will not accept. I have tried reaching the owner by email have left phone messages. They do not care about customer service. The offerings are different, not up to the old standards.
The Chocolate Bar is the most amazing place to go to! They have new ice cream, which is very unique and delicious, there cakes are out of this world, especially their STRAWBERRY CAKE! And not to mention the customer service. They have changed around some items but with more amazing and delicious ones. It’s such a great environment ��
I'm very disappointed with the new owners. I went in a couple weeks ago to get a slice of my favorite cake (Night and Day) only to find out they don't make it anymore. The store felt empty. The selection of desserts felt sparce. The addition of non chocolate desserts felt out of place. Just not the same anymore. I hope they take these reviews to heart.
So many desserts! And open late!! Clean, fun atmosphere, friendly, helpful service, and delicious treats.
The ice cream is tasteless, the personality of the Chocolate Bar is not the same... I don’t understand but I don’t think I’ll be going back.
Been coming here for years, but I was genuinely surprised to see that the general candy section had been removed and the discount for chocolate dipped fruit after 8 p.m. had been scrapped. RIP to my visits here, I guess. I get the name is Chocolate Bar (and I wouldn't count on, say, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to specialize beyond that and maybe some other confectionery), but the candy section was cool with the sometimes off-beat and different selection offered. Losing that loses a big part of the charm I felt.
