OMGosh What a great experience we had last night. My son took me out to dinner as he lives in this area. They had curry cauliflower soup and I chose lentil loaf with mushrooms. It was delicious. The red potatoes had a lovely flavor and the greens beans were crisp and perfect. I’ll go back. Great job chef.
I tried Chicago Diner for the first time this past weekend and I was very pleased! They were super busy but we were still helped within minutes, our food was prepared fast and we were never made to feel like a bother to any of the workers. The even better news is that it is incredibly affordable and super tasty! When you go don't forget to try the desserts because oh my God, I'm drooling just thinking about it.
Such a queer affirming place! I love how so many of the staff are queer or trans! It really makes me feel welcome! Also can we talk about how wonderful the bartender Kyler is??
