We live in New Bern, and The Chelsea is the restaurant we visit most often. The food is terrific, the staff is knowledgeable, and the main floor dining area has just the kind of casual atmosphere we like. Although it's not a pub, there's always a nice selection of interesting beer on tap, and a reasonable variety of wines by the glass and by the bottle.
So so goooodddd. Will be back many times.

Historical landmark - Relaxing environment, great tasty southern foods. Many good menu selections. Exceptional friendly service. One of our favorite places to dine while in Newbern or anywhere close to it.
The food is outstanding! Many great memories made here. I personally like their Apollonian Chicken salad and get it Everytime I'm in New Bern. The Chelsea, known for excellence!
