Karen was fabulous to work with, made everything so easy. We had most of a surprise birthday partied catered, sides and mini-cupcakes. All was incredibly delicious! In case your are curious, we had the pasta salad, Potato salad, grilled veggies, and fruit. Thank you Karen for your excellent customer service and tasty food.

Had a wonderful lunch at the Chef and the Baker yesterday. Excellent meatloaf and smashed taters. The S'mores cupcake, however, blew my mind. A deep-dark chocolate cake that would satisfy all on its own with a delightful graham cracker crumble waiting to surprise your tastebuds at the base, all topped with a meringue frosting opulently piped and toasted to perfection. Get to the Chef and the Baker for some of this homemade love for yourself.
Great place...outstanding food and service. Ian and Karen are great business owners and people. A must visit in Peoria.
