I wasn’t impressed at all, my fries were not hot and they serve a very thin piece of grouper on the grouper sandwich. My husband ordered the half chicken and asked for double fries instead of coleslaw, but they put double fries on my plate; coleslaw and fries on his. When we brought this mistake to the waitress attention, she looked at me and asked if I would share my fries with my husband....bad service. We just had a wonderful Christmas luncheon at the Chattaway. The owner, Jill, sat down with us to visit. She was so delightful, and before we left, we felt like we were part of her family. Merry Christmas everyone
The friendly guy that seated us (moved here from the NY) was the only thing that was pleasant about this visit. Our waitress acted annoyed to be there much less take our order. Her attitude was out right rude. Each one in our party of four tried with her and she never broke a zombie stare like someone had a stake stuck in her back. Stop in the Chattaway for Christmas cheer. Their decorations are beautiful. Meal is served on Christmas plates. The patio has heaters and a fire pit.
super nice servers, the beautiful outside area, the British room, my family had burgers, fish and chips and a grouper sandwich. My nephew said it was the best grouper sandwich he's ever had !!!!
