Listen, I just want to say that the 2 most recent 1 star reviews are absolute nonsense. So why am I writing this review? Because I have the back of my property manager, Sydney, and all of her staff. They have been nothing short of the best staff I've ever had at a multi-unit building. Qualifier: I've lived here for almost 3 years. We’ve lived at The Central for almost two years, and while it initially felt secure and well-managed, the building has declined significantly ever since Jacques left. We still have until August left on our lease, and at this point safety has become the main reason we’ve wanted to find a way out early. The biggest issue came to a head recently when a stairwell entry door near the lobby/mailroom, which had been unsecured for months, was effectively left open. I arrived for a tour and was told they didn’t have any available units for me to see, despite driving 2 hours and their website (and trulia) showing they had multiple units available for rent. The 2 girls working in the management office didn’t seem to know what was available vs what wasn’t and suggested that I come back “once something opens up” since “people move out all of the time.” It was a very weird tour since they showed me common areas and then a “mock floor plan” so that I could “see the most popular layout” but ad... read more
Overall, I’ve enjoyed my experience so far at the Central. Madisyn and Sydney are my go to contacts! There are a few things I would like improved and I agree with parts of other reviews, but I would just recommend you are thorough with questions and touring before you move in. Certain sides of the building are louder than others. If you get a unit by the stairs, be prepared to hear every step someone makes. But I like the area and I don’t regret moving here.
