the last visit I had was extremely stressful, I thought the Dr. was going to do the full procedure but had an assistant do it . He did not handle the situation well at all.

Nevertheless, it is necessary for Doctor's Surgical Assistants to perform some simple activities such as taking x-rays, CT scans, etc. Taking impressions, to which you are referring, is another such activity. All surgical procedures are, of course, performed exclusively by Dr. Letelier.
The reason that Dr. Letelier is the top provider in his specialty, in my experience and opinion, is that of his special interest in the patient, listening to and understanding his/her concerns, and doing a masterful job of achieving the professional objective with a minimum of inconvenience, discomfort and expense to the patient. all that in his inimitable unhurried and engaging manner.
