The Carpenter House/St. Joseph hospice took such compassionate and dignified care of my dad. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel supported, informed, and comforted. Hires incompetent doctors to write death certificates that do not follow CDC guidelines for death certificates. Make sure you get a correct death certificate. If you see a death certificate signed by Sai Chemenetty make sure it states what your family member actually died from. This incompetent doctor wrote a letter for me to mail to vital records to amend my mother’s death certificate which is not allowed. Beware of this doctor and organization. Poor communication, an inaccurate death certificate, rude staff members, lies, they hold no Catholic values biggest regret using this company for my mothers last days! Should have known when the State found their other company Sage Rehab Hospital Lafayette negligent that they were no different! Was recommended Hospice of Acadiana but chose to go with a company with fake Catholic values! Disappointing and disrespectful! Bad choice!
