Catherine Jewell is amazing. Among career coaches she is unique in that she "gets it" about MANY challenges of a career, not just getting that next job ASAP. I am so tired of coaches just uselessly echoing each other with the same old stuff they've either linked or retweeted endlessly. If you don't know this already you either have not been looking for about 10 years or you have a flatline learning curve. Don't even think of being a slacker working with this woman. Waste of time – Attended her "Find your passion" informal class through UT and not to be mean but it was a pretty big waste of time. She was constantly trying to sell people on her more expensive books and seminars while the exercises and scenarios were pretty lame, unrealistic and ridiculous. I wouldn't waste your time or money. She charged the class $5 for a 9 page handout that was a simple photocopy that would cost normally cost 10 cents per page. 20% of the class left during the 10 minute break.
Her Passion is Helping – Catherine Jewell is an amazing success story. She lives what she teaches. Long before the rest of us even knew what a career coach does, Catherine was already being one, holding court with small groups in her living room, helping them realize what they loved and how to make a living doing it.
