Staff was great and atmosphere was the same ol, the burger was not good. They used to have a great crust and a juicy patty, this was dense and rubbery. Like very chewy, not enjoyable and not flavorful. For $7 it's not a bad deal cost wise but they have lost the pedigree they've been known for quality wise. Great food (I had a burger) and an awesome selection of beer. Very friendly people and wait staff. Great conversation at the bar, too! Will be back when I visit Boone next go-around, and I’ll opt for an even bigger burger.
Been going here for years, first time back since they changed hands owner wise. Staff was great and atmosphere was the same ol, the burger was not good. I have a gluten allergy and was thrilled to find they offer a dedicated fryer and gluten-free buns, not to mention fried chicken tenders! Our waitress was so knowledgeable and let the kitchen staff know of my allergy. The food was so good! I had the chicken nuggets and sweet potato tots! The prices were very reasonable. Parking was a challenge but we made a spot. Definitely worth the stop! The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing.
