Best place for steak! – My husband and I frequent the Capital Grille and we love it! The service out does any other restaurant in the area. We always look forward to dining with the incredible staff, and the continuous quality we have come to embrace. The food is always cooked to perfection and the host staff is always so welcoming! We can't get enough of this place, we spend every special ocaision there as well. Recommend it to everyone, but make sure you make reservations. It's so great it is hard to get in without them!

Cuisine fit for royalty - and service is KING – Nowhere else in Tampa will you be treated better than here. This is the first restaurant I've encountered where the service is as excellent as the food. You'll get good steak elsewhere, but most steakhouses around the Bay won't provide a staff that bends over backwards for you. The Place to Close the DEAL! – I have found the restaurant to close the deal! I took clients to The Capital Grille in Tampa and the steaks and service were right on! My clients were impressed and Kevin made me feel like a million bucks. It is nice to not worry about the dinner and concentrate on the close. My new office is at table 63 my assistant is Kevin.
Tampa just struck Gold – WOW! This place is the real deal. Upon enrty, we were made to feel relaxed and welcome. Our waiter (John U.) was upbeat, professional, and really friendly. He helped us select our wine from their bountiful wine list. We had the steak oscar and the lamb. Both were the best we've ever had. This place is gold. I will seek out The Capital Grille in other cities when we travel.
What Happened in Tampa? – The Capital Grille is reknown nationwide, but my experience in Tampa was not up to the hype. The steaks were overcooked and tough, the service barely better than casual dining, and the wine list over-rated and over-priced. I hope one of the Capital Grille corporate staff visits Tampa soon to get this site up to the quality of DC or Philadelphia.
