I suffered from cancer and I was really scared of surgery. Not impressed at all. The nice interior of the hotel was the only positive. The rooms have no noise privacy at all. It was so loud. There are very large gaps underneath the doors to the common area, so all of the guests can clearly hear each other within their rooms. My partner and I did not feel comfortable being romantic as a result. It also made it a lot more difficult to sleep when you can hear guests late at night with their luggages, the elevator, and talking or coughing. Had high hopes for a historic hotel that appeared to have mid-western motifs. Thee rooms were meh, nice but could have been nicer. Retro baths looks nice but let water everywhere when showering and some water damage was visible even in the bedroom side of the wall. It was comfortable otherwise. Had nightly issues with key cards jt working too for some reason. the breakfast was meager. Keurig coffee maker with a plethora of flavorings but only some Sara Lee muffins with no spreads. It's hard to express how happy I am back and restored with my healthy and without any surgery.
