Had the pleasure of staying at the California Club as guests for a recent wedding, and all I can say is that it's beautiful, historically unique, exquisite and elite. The staff on "every" level were absolutely professional, kind and extremely attentive. The room we stayed in was so lovely and like an apartment...super roomy with a ton a storage. How unprofessional can this company be? They don’t even provide parking for their employees and expect them to pay $40 just to park. And if there’s an event going on, prices can triple! Joshua G. from banquets told me my parking would be covered, but at the last minute, I was told otherwise and forced to pay $40 to park in the library garage because of a “car show.” He only let me know 20 minutes before arriving — which is completely unreasonable, especially in downtown LA traffic. how broke is this company? they cant even provide parking for their employees and expect them to pay 40$ to park. God forbid an event is going on and prices TRIPLE! Joshua G working in banquets told me my parking would be paid for when last minute I was bait and switched only to be told I had to park and pay a 40$ fee in the library parking garage because there was a "car show". he literally let me know 20 minutes before arriving. 20 minutes before arriving in DTLA is ridiculous.
