We have been ordering at least one cake a year since they made our wedding cake 12 years ago. It's always beautiful and tasty. We love The Cake Lady.
The Cake Lady made our wedding cupcakes, and our son's first and third birthday cakes. All were wonderful and we had so many compliments on the birthday cakes, especially. But I have to agree with some of the reviews that the customer service is not good. I stopped in to the East Lyme location today, excited to buy cupcakes for the first time with my three year old. Ruined birthday tradition. Not as ordered. Filling omitted.frosting not butter cream. Expensive and owner had an attitude.
Definitely one of our favorite bakery's ever. Sharleen and her crew are amazing. Our favorite flavors are pistachio snd almond raspberry. We've had Cake Lady make our wedding cake and cupcakes, holiday cupcakes, and just had them make our reveal cake and cupcakes to find out what gender our baby is. We are always so happy with The Cake Lady and will always highly recommend this bakery.
No other cake can even compare. Taste the yummy goodness. Always have and always will.
