We drove 1 1/2 hours to McComb to celebrate16 years of marriage last night at The Caboose & Mr. Kinchen did not disappoint! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed & enjoyable & the steak was nothing short of AMAZING! My husband loves a good bone in ribeye & Mr. Kinchen hand selected the best cut of meat for him & cooked it to perfection. But my filet was the best I had ever tasted! Arrived at 8:05 on Saturday night. Front seating area was completely empty and only 2 tables occupied in sight towards the rear. Hostess informed me they would not be able to accommodate us. No explanation just a nonchalant message - the hostess acted as if she could care less. As we were leaving we watched another couple enter and be seated. Will NEVER go back and strongly suggest to others to find another restaurant to visit.
Great food! Great atmosphere. Can't go wrong with the steaks or seafood. Personable service. The owner frequently comes by to chat and check on customers. Definitely the nicest restaurant we've visited in McComb. We try to eat here every time we visit.
Absolutely delicious! Everything!! The sear scallops and lobster bisque appetizers followed by the two amazing ribeyes were amazing. Will definitely be back

Everything was amazing! From the fried green tomatoes, the bbq shrimp, the salad, the steak AND dessert. Not to mention the service was spectacular!
