We have tried all the different types of steak tips, marinated chicken, prepared meals, etc. Compared to several of the butchers, we’ve tried in New England. The flavors here are OK but not great. I will say the meatballs are pretty good. I wish they would rework their marinades so that they complement the meat better.
Let me start by saying everything is very fresh and you will find stuff you normally can not. Everything is quality. The seafood..while fresh I have a huge complaint. While fresh the area of which acquired left me very confused. I ordered a pound of Sea Scallops. The employee stated "oh we just got these in this morning." They hand me the Scallops marked "Product of the USA." I then notice a sign under it saying from Japan. After calling back later. It was confirmed they were from Japan. New customer. Large place, broad selection, high quality. I’ve purchased meat and wine 5-6 times in the past couple months. The quality was especially good. They carry Wagyu from Snake River Farms, as well as many other high quality meats. Their marinated meats are much better than usual. They also sell all kinds of snacks/sides, as it is a full market. Come on a Saturday or a Wednesday, and there is also a farmers market just outside. Great way to get high quality meat, produce and more in one stop.
Try the maple bourbon tips. My gosh they are great. We also but great ribeye steak at this place
Best quality meat ever — way better than what I’ve tried from Whole Foods or Costco
