The menu has plenty of character, while the place itself doesn't have much. Shame the ambiance and service don't match the food and drink offerings
Appetizers at this creative spot include whipped hummus with pickled red peppers, buratta with sourdough and a plate of artisanal cheeses. Certainly try the Veggie Sandwich. Simply named but worth it
I am in enjoying the battle royal that is Butchers Tap Spicy Italian vs. Bari Classic Italian. For me the edge goes to butchers tap. 1. Softer bread & 2. Giardiniera. The real winner is ME!!!
Great place to watch The 2014 Ohio State Buckeyes! They are changing their name/concept to The Butcher's Tap and The Butcher's Tap Buckeyes are the group that meets here every week to watch the games!
Don't order the veggie pita thinking that it will be a shred healthy-because it's not, unless compared to a full fledged gyro which in that case you might be on the up and up.
