As as first timer, I give this a 10/10!! Everything was well seasoned and reasonably portioned for the prices. It was a beautiful day… We ate our food with our pup, listened to a live band, and shopped at their farmers market. I bought fresh and local honey, peaches, and cookies
I love that Tim has brought great KC and Texas style BBQ to the area, it's so hard to find in the Northeast. All the meats are seasoned and smoked to perfection. No heavy smoke taste and plenty of juicy bites. The beef street tacos are incredible. I had a sample of everything and nothing let us down. Chicken wing lovers will die for the wings. Took a road trip up to The Bus for lunch today and was not disappointed. The new BBQ menu is amazing. The pulled pork, ribs, cheese curds (with hot honey), and slaw were all prepared to perfection. Don’t leave without a cider donut ice cream sandwich. Can’t wait to head back again soon.
A wonderful outdoor dining experience! The Bus at Salinger's has beautiful scenery and some amazing food available in the warmer months of the year. While I've never been disappointed by a meal here, the chicken sandwich is what brings me back! It's an amazing sandwich and I've enjoyed it every time I've had it. There are a number of other appealing offerings - the meatball sub pictured below is another phenomenal offering.
Sooooo expensive. We spent $60 for a mushroom burger and two chicken burgers. No fries even. Not much in the way of topping. A rip off
