The Bury is one of my favorite bars in the downtown Athens area. It constantly pulls a solid crowd who is always enjoyable. The drinks are priced competitively and they are always promoting new events and drink specials.
This place is horrible! Wouldn't let my cousin in because he wears a turban which he wears for religious reasons, while I was allowed to enter with a fitted hat backwards and turned to the side.He does not drink and was serving as our DD for the night. Sikh men commonly wear a peaked turban that serves partly to cover their long hair, which is never cut out of respect for God's creation..
