skipper I can't believe the bad reviews I just read. I've been shooting and buying (and selling, too) at the Bullet Hole for over 20 years and have NEVER experienced any attitude except friendly and knowledgable. Maybe if these cry-babies and whiners would take a look at their own attitude it might help them find the same kind of people I've always found there.
Family Owned Business I have been a constant client with this family owned business. I will admit some of their staff are rude and unfriendly. I will also admit in the recent years the owners finally spent money to update the shooting range and painted to freshen up the place.
Bullet Hole is Weak All staff working there have a monotone rudeness with a 'pawn-shop' like arogance to them. God forbid you ask a question about one of their guns. They act as if everyone who walks thru the doors is an inconvienence. Go to a gun show, those guys at lease are willing to travel a small distance and set up a nice booth to earn your money.
Professionalism If you owned a shooting range in that part of town I'm sure your story would change. It is situated across from an apartment complex (ahem), has a bit more cleaning to do than you would ever imagine (imagination IS required here) and, as you said, "if someone else would open a hand gun range" (it's spelled 'handgun' in case you're educated) you would eventually have the same complaints about them. Bullet Hole is unfriendly and staff needs customer service trainning. Bullet hole staff is rude and unfriendly, i recommend you buy your Ammo at Olathe gun shop and then just use bullet hole's facility. If someone else were to open a hand gun range in olathe and have a friendly staff, everyone would go there instead of bullet hole.
Bullet Hole is horrible. The people that work there are rude and they are WAY overpriced. The guys that work here are not helpful at all. They acted like it was annoying them to answer my questions. You can go somewhere else and get a new gun for the same price they are selling used ones. What a rip off! Don't waste your time at the Bullet Hole.
bad overpriced guns, overprices ammo and extremley rude and uninterested people. Most gun shops will talk to you about the weapons and will at least act interested in your buisness, not these guys. Even when you are handing them money they act like it is a huge chore. the nicest of them still seems constantly disinterested. DO NOT GO HERE
The Bullet Hole Great place to get in some target practice. Wednesdays are ladies night. They are helpful, courteous and professional. They also have firearms for sale.
