The Bristol Hotel San Diego The Bristol Hotel is located in the heart of the Gaslamp District in downtown San Diego. The location is wonderful and the decor is great; modern art deco. The hotel features many famouse pieces form the art deco period including Andy Warhol and they have an art walk that you can take throught the hotel highlighting these pieces. Good location The Bristol Hotel is all about location, location, location! It's right up the street from Horton Plaza and the Gaslamp District. This made it an attractive hotel choice during my last trip to San Diego. However, while I enjoyed the lobby, which was playful, I found a few things lacking. First, the shower lacks anything close to being called pressure. Upon our arrival we had to call the front desk because our shower featured no hot water. The TV speakers seemed blown and we had to turn the volume up to the max ... read more
