Great Selection of Half price designer gowns – I came here when i was searching for a wedding dress. I ended up trying on a few different dresses from their sale area as well as the normal price gowns. They had a really good selection of designer dresses, as well as designer dresses that were half price or really cheap. For example, my dress was normally in the 1,000 range and I got it here for $400! It only needed to be hemmed, and the sash was my color. Good experience so far ... – I am a little surprised by all the negative reviews I have read. So far my experience with this store in picking out my bridesmaid dresses has been good. My sales assistant, Rosie, has been very nice, patient and helpful. During my appointment, she checked on me frequently, looked up prices, brought me color sample books, and found me sample dresses in the different colors I liked so I could compare them (instead of relying on the 1-inch swatches). Terrible, rude staff member – Save yourself time and frustration. Do NOT go here! I had planned on going to the bridesmaid store to look for a wedding gown. I arrived a few minutes before 11am for my 11am bridal appointment and waited outside until another person walked in ahead of me- I later realized that person worked at the store, but I had thought it was a customer. Sale – I went to a big sale the store had and bought 5 bridesmaids dresses and a mother of the bride's dress for around 200 dollars total. It was buy one get one free. I love the dresses and totally recommend finding out when that sale is. The sale would be great for prom dresses, formals, or any event where you need one unique dress. They actually let us in the store early and were very friendly throughout the whole experience.
Great Store! – I went to the store with my friend, the bride, and was happy with what I found. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help, the prices were great, and they had the biggest selection of bridesmaid dresses I've seen. The process was easy - get measured, pay, and pick up the dress. The owner also goes out of her way to answer any questions you may have about sizing or ordering. I purchased my wedding gown from the Bridesmaids store. They measured me and told me they were going to order a size 16. I usually wear a 10 or 12 in regular clothes, and I told the lady and she said wedding dress sizes are completely different and to disregard what size I normally wear. Bad Experience! – Me and my mom had made an appointment a day before we had actually gone in and they sounded really nice on the phone. If someone would have told me what it was really like in there I wouldn't have wasted my time. We got there and the girl led us into a room and didn't even tell us what her name was and basically just stood there while we looked around. Incredibly RUDE!!! – I went there to pick up my bridesmaid dress, before I could even see it, I had to write the check. Then it was brought out and I wasn't even offered to try it on to make sure everything fit correctly. So, I asked if I could please try it on. When I did it was way to small. There was no way I could wear it. When I asked what was I supposed to do, all they said is well obviously you have gained weight. Much Lower Prices – Hello, I recently ordered my wedding dress at The Bridesmaids Store. The same dress was $200 cheaper here than the other wedding boutiques that carried it in Austin. The ladies who work their were friendly and let me try on dresses even though I had not made an appt. They were friendly, helpful and much cheaper than the other stores I had looked at. I would recommend shopping the Bridesmaids Store for your wedding and bridesmaids dresses.
