Bride beware!! – I would never recommend this place. The makeup services will make you look like a drag queen; my fiancee offered to hose me down after looking at me after my trial makeup appointment! And against my better judgement, I still had them do the work on my dress because it's a different person, and ended up with a dress that didn't fit right with no time before the ceremony to have it re-altered by someone capable. I am very unhappy with the bridal loft.

Fabulous alterations, makeup and more – The Bridal Loft is a fabulous place for brides. I had a great experience working with this honest, fun group of professionals and artists. Kim at Sewing Solutions did great work fitting my gown. She was accommodating, easy to work with, and did beautiful work - even letting the dress out a pinch the week before. Amazing Work / Amazing Customer Service – I am using the Bridal Loft for my hair and make up and my experience so far has been above and beyond my expectations. My consultation was more like a private party and having personal wedding consultants with Kathy, Charissa and Dolcie. They were able to take my "vision" of what I wanted to look like and it turned out better than any of the magazines I brought in for examples...seriously...I looked fabulous. Not your standard bridal store, but what a fabulous place! – I am a former client of the Bridal Loft. My wedding was in July '06. I don't know why I didn't write a review sooner, but I recently stopped by to bring copies of my wedding pictures to the fabulous Loft ladies and that triggered my memory of what a great place this is and I just had to write a review. Service Disaster – I do not reccomend using Event Cosmetics at the Bridal Loft unless you have a lot of extra time on your hands and enjoy making millions of phone calls just to get someone to pay attention to you. Their website is very brief with information so I emailed them, as suggested on their page, and it took them almost two weeks to get back to me and only got back to me with a thank you for contacting them!! Unhappy with Sewing Solutions – Although some of the people at the Bridal Loft may offer great products or services, I had a terrible experience with Sewing Solutions (Kay). My dress is a custom designed gown with very high quality silk taffeta, which wrinkles easily and will show pin marks, natural oil from hands, ect. Kay didn?t wash her hands before handing the fabric, stuck pins along the top of the hem (creating visible holes), and said that she would steam the dress (it needs to be pressed?steaming would ruin the fabri... read more

Great vibe at this shop! – This shop is amazing. Not traditional bridal by any means. A cool, mellow, funny and friendly place. You generally deal with the designers one on one, which results in amazing products. I had a custom veil designed as well as some beautiful jewelry, more expensive than other options but these are beautiful heirloom quality pieces well worth the cost to pass down to my family for generations. Best bridal shop – Fun, casual atmosphere. It's so refreshing to go into a bridal store that doesn't feel stuffy or pretentious. All the girls are so talented and friendly. They have everything from custom bridal gowns. bridesmaid dresses, jewelry, veils, headpieces, make-up and hair services, event cordinating, and alterations. This is a must stop location for anyone getting married!!!!

Make-Up like you've never seen before – Catherine the make up woman is truly and artist. I think make-up is fun, but usually wear it about 6 times a year. So I was nervous about how my fiance would react to seeing me in make-up on the big day and concerned about looking too made up at my outdoor wedding. Daylight is so unforgiving.
