Detect did the termite treatment on my home as part of our repairs addendum. One year later termites are back. Because we did not purchase a warranty, they wanted almost 700 dollars to redo it - no warranty offered with the service that I am aware of. They offered to do it and then quoted me a high monthly fee for a termite contract. Sorry, my current pest company is cheaper, gives a year warranty for the service, and I trust them. Not trusting these guys and they’re not making another dime on this property.
RecommendedMy real estate agent called in the Brickkicker team and DeTect to inspect the house we are buying. The team did a thorough job inspecting the house and had the experience to know all of the things to look for. They also took time to explain all of the things they checked and all of the things they found. I had a great experience with this company and specifically the inspector Michael Clark. He was not only very professional but he was straight to the point and dumbs it down for you. I didn't feel like he was trying to show off his great knowledge but in fact was making sure I understood everything he was talking about. If you need an inspection I would highly recommend them.
When he inspects the property he tells the homeowner no big deal and then sends an estimate for over $1000 for treatment of a small area of fungus and also wants to replace the moisture barrier that has been installed 2 years ago. To me he should stick to inspections only, definitely a conflict of interest for him to rake in more money!!!
Recently used twice with Mike as my Home Inspector. Friendly team with easy online access to report that can be downloaded to PDF. I would use again!
