With the US/Canadian border closed for at least another month, my 22nd straight year for fishing hit a snag. Oh well, next year the fish will be bigger and I will be retired so maybe I can stay longer. More importantly and a long over due thank-you to The Boat House. My 21st year had another bump in the road when two weeks before the trip the trim went out of the boat (it was a 1997). The best boat dealership in town
With all the crappy Customer Service, today I found a good one. Dano Myers at the Boat House in Nashotah. More than just helpful, was polite, answered all my questions and generally was an immense help.
Just had my wake boat winterized and delivered to my storage. The driver (Ben) was great. Our barn access is challenging. He handled all aspects with a smile and skill. Great service.
Avoid the Boat House, Lake Country like dung fever This is a true story. I bought a 2009 boat from my buddy that had only been out on the water 2 times. It sat for a very long time and my guess is that they did not run it out of gas when they stored it. It would only idle on full choke. A quick google pointed to either a fuel pump / line issue or a clogged carburetor. I ruled out the former and decided I did not have the expertise to remove and clean the carburetor, so I call...
