Great atmosphere and great food. The staff was amazing and the music stellar.
Wow. I actually live just a block away and I can't believe the disrespect a waitress just gave me. It is 10:30pm on a Friday night, and I am walking my dog in the neighborhood. I wanted to order a drink, and I have waited diligently for the last 20 minutes outside (understandly so because there's a great band inside and I expect they have plenty of customers.) We stopped here for The gospel brunch because we happened to be coming through Sarasota. I can't say enough how AMAZING it was! We loved the buffet, the bartender was great and the music was Awesome! Very glad we stopped! We live an hour south, but will definitely be making reservations to come for the brunch again soon! Had a top-notch experience at The Blue Rooster this past weekend with my friends! Great food (fried chicken with collard greens and okra), awesome entertainment (Selwyn Birchwood), and superb service (Donnie). The manager, Barbara, also made us feel very welcome. the Blue Rooster is a great blues club!
Great food, great service, awesome live music! Would definitely go again
