David was able to fit me in last minute. He works quickly and he was super enjoyable to chat with! Felt like a very safe and inclusive space. At the end he told me I could come back in a week if I still needed some taken off, he wanted to play it safe because I don't have much hair to work with, and I appreciate that immensely! Ended up getting a touch up a week later, and I'm very happy with my cut! Too bad I don't need my hair done more often!!
This is one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years. I don’t live in Victoria, but when I do come, I will be back. David is so skilled and is very patient and does amazing cuts. You can tell he loves his profession. The atmosphere in the salon is very warm and positive. My son got a great cut as well on this occasion. Great experience!

I know lots of people love David and I went to him with a recommendation and had a terrible hair cut. Somehow, I ended up with the same mullet that I went to him to fix but even shorter. I've been growing it out for over a month now and I'm in Italy and just had it cut and after 3 of the stylists gathered around me to consult, we all agreed that I had to cut all my length off. They said it was a terrible cut. Not sure what happened that day at the Blue Room. Still can't believe I paid $75 plus a tip for such a terrible cut. ... read more
