Hubby and I had the pleasure of eating at Blue Point last night. Both of our meals were excellent. However the soups were outstanding. He had the Oyster Soup; easy to see why this is an eagerly awaited fall & winter menu item. I had a fabulous sweet potato soup. The soups alone were worth the trip. Dessert was excellent also. Our waiter was wonderful; attentive, helpful, friendly, professional. Blue Point is worth your drive where ever you are staying when at the OBX
Based on its popularity and difficulty getting reservation, I had high expectations. I was disappointed, service below par, food just so so, and Way overpriced.
Beautiful atmosphere, food was good, but pricey. I would recommend it.
We stop here every year when we visit the area. Food and Service always wonderful. To us The Blue Point signifies welcome to the beach!
My family and I had a lovely lunch here. The food was great and staff were friendly. When my four year old became unexpectedly sick, they did everything they could to help. Kindness goes such a long way and it was much appreciated. I'm looking forward to going back and recommending it to my friends.
