Awesome food, friendly staff and super fast service!
I was treated to lunch at The Blue Duck Barbecue Tavern by my Brother, Ben. I wasn't sure what to expect, considering the word 'Tavern' is in the name. I was pleasantly surprised how relaxed and nice the atmosphere was. I don't go to bars or taverns and this is more like a Restaurant/Sports Pub. The food was more than delectable! We made sure we stopped in here because we were here once for drinks and the food looked amazing. This time we got the full rack plate to share and it was AMAZING. Service was great and atmosphere was perfect. This is our new favorite.
We ate at Blue Duck while visiting our son in Peoria. We had brisket, pulled pork and hamburger- all delicious. It’s housed in a beautifully restored train station, and we got to watch a train go by just after we left.
The food is phenomenal!!!! Five Stars
