I had heard a lot of good things about this place, but unfortunately it was just okay. The choice of BBQ sauce was not good and the two they had tasted almost the same. A simple KC or Chicago style sauce would have made it much better. The mac and cheese as well as baked beans that I had were very good, and the rib tips had pretty good flavor but would have been much better with a good BBQ sauces...I have strong convictions as to what makes good BBQ for me, so I would NOT discourage others as the rib tips had the good smokey... read more
My boyfriend and I went in tonight for "date night". This was our second time here. The food was amazing (as it was the first time), the music was amazing (as it was the first time) and the service was beyond stellar! Thank you, Brit for wonderful service! You made us feel very welcomed! We have decided that this is "our" place when we have a date night! Don't change a thing!!
We absolutely loved this gem on Peoria's riverfront! Amazing barbecue and service. Unique, fun, upscale setting, but family friendly. Looking forward to our next visit!
We had a group of come in for dinner and it was great....we all had different meats that i tried everyone and oh my goodness amazing...also the fried pickles are the best i have ever tasted...if you havent been there, go you wont be disappointed....

Food was horrible. Bacon potato salad side was over fried potatoes, underseasoned, and greasy and no bacon. Mac & cheese was grainy, no cheese flavor and over cooked macaroni. The brisket, though juicy, had no flavor in the meat, just the flavor of smoke ring. The sauce in the bottle tasted like raw taco seasoning from the packet mixed with vinegar and watered down tomato sauce. The pecan/bacon pie was inedible. Never had a bad meal here. Brisket, ribs, and half chicken are terrific. Also, I always get one of their fantastic wedge salads. Every time our band plays martini's, we make a stop here first
