Absolutely amazing! The lunch special, tilapia piccata was perfect. Definitely my new favorite place! Such a nice little hidden gem.
I had Cajun Triple Tails. A humongous pile of fish sauced with their homemade diablo topped with scallops and shrimp. It was so good! The chef balanced the whole plate...flavor, spice, the sea. I can't wait to go back. Oh, and what people say about the location being hole-in-the-wall in a tough neighborhood makes it feel even more homey for me.
Doc's has some serious competition. Best seafood I've ever eaten here at The Blue Cove. Excellent service. From appetizers to the main dish. Absolutely amazing! MUST COME BACK.
First time to eat here, so checked Yelp beforehand to look at plate photos...Saw a dish that looked awesome, but couldnt find it on the menu, so I showed the server the picture, only to find out that dish was a past special, (not on the menu anymore) but was told they would make it anyway...The staff was very gracious considering my weird order, and it was gooood!....

Had the special, steak and shrimp. It was a good size steak and awesome veggies. Did not care for the mashed potatoes, tasted like boxed potatoes not real potatoes. The tea was good. Real plain on the inside. Loved the tortilla soup. Good service. Will go again but would like to pick my ribeye.

If u want "Best Of The Best" then this is the place to be! I was totally amazed by how fresh everything is. There was a little bit of wait, but well worth it when u did get served. The desserts are great too, & all made from scratch. No store bought taste here...it's the real meal deal. Go & check it out for urself. U won't be disappointed.
Food was Excellent! Staff is always on point... I Highly Recommend this place... It has become one of my Favorites in Corpus Christi....
