"Excellent"is the only way to describe my color, highlights and cut I have received from Katie! Since relocating here from CT (3+ yrs) I have tried a plethora of salons throughout Boston and honestly was never pleased. Katies Blonde Salon has a great vibe and Katie is a person who exudes patience and kindness. She is a master of her craft. I enjoyed not only my hair outcome, but every minute of my time with Katie.
Worst experience ever. I remember I went there with a friend of mine and we were just appalled by what we saw. It was messy, dirty, all over the place. The owner even fried my hair! I got home and I just had it falling out in clumps. They have deleted my previous reviews and it’s just disappointing to see this salon in the revere area. I truly believe this lady is a racist because of how differently she treated me and my friend (Arabic) compared to the white girls coming in! What a horrible place to go 0/10 DONT recommend.
I’ve tried to book with Katie a few times in the past, and I finally got the chance to see her last February—right before my trip to Cancun. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and cut my hair really short. Mind you, I have black Asian hair and wanted a blonde balayage, which is definitely not easy to achieve. But Katie (the owner) got it impressively close on the first visit, and by my second visit it’s already looking even closer to what I envisioned.
