I love supporting local businesses. Stopped by one morning after working out. They are very friendly and great service. Love stopping by. They remember who you are.
I've always favored local spots over chains and Blackbird Coffeehouse was perfect. Delightful people, excellent conversationalists, and great coffee and tea. Came in several times with my mother-in-law and it was something we always looked forward to. Try the Diablo Mocha or as I liked to call it - well, it was non-PC but whatever you call the drink it was awesome. Just stopped there this morning on my way to work! Wonderfully nice staff and they even serve real Mexican mochas!! Yum! I'm also a bird nerd, so I think the bird theme inside is fantastic!
