My wife and I recently had our rehearsal dinner at the The Blackbird. The dinner was delicious and the atmosphere was terrific. The staff made the event very easy with a great menu to choice from and an excellent bar.
A very unique place with delicious and unique food. Warm and friendly staff that treats customers special.
Service was awesome. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. I order them every time I'm in NOLA and this ran a close 2nd to the Rudy Slipper and some of the best places there. Great Father's Day

I usually have a great meal, unfortunately this time the eggs Benedict was not great, the ham was mostly fat and I only got a few edible bites🙁
I would have given 5 stars but when we walked in we were ignored for several minutes. Then when someone finally noticed us, we were told there was a 15min wait even though the place only had 5 guests seated and many open tables. The wait was not 15 min, probably less that 5, our server was one of the best in town and we enjoyed our food very much. I'll be happy to go there again.
