First time at the Black Whale. Dinner, drinks and our waitress, Paula, was AWESOME. She helped us choose our food, was friendly, professional and fun. Did not rush us. I cannot say enough good things about her or the restaurant.
Good menu, tasty options. I had the muscles appetizer, it was gigantic and really good. The monkfish with littleneck clams and white beans was very tasty as well. The room is pretty loud, but understandably they want to show off the view of the docks.
I thought my meal at the Black Whale was FANTASTIC! My meal made think of my Grandmother's cooking and the most delicious gravies she made, which my mother learned to make and I have not perfected! I found at the Black Whale! I had The "Seafood Cippillio" I know I know I probably did not spell it right, but with that spelling your waiter will recognize the dish, It Was To Die For!

Went two weeks ago with guests and it was so great and our super informed waitress we came back last night and had a fab bday dinner at the bar and left overs for lunch and dinner tonight. SGM PS be back soon.
The food was perfect, the waitress was awesome too! Great ambience. I would definitely go back!!
