I try to experience different dishes when I visit this restaurant. I had the seafood cippino ( Apologies if I get the name is incorrect) it was very good, excellent mix of sweet and spicy herbs in the sauce. The app the can’t miss is the calamari...it’s to kill for! Sangrias were strong and it set the mood for the night. Great vibe, lots of people, a little loud so not ideal for your first date but there is no other place like it on the waterfront.
Just Ok... Nothing great, better places around but to each his own.
I think the Black Whale should put octopus back on the menu.
We wherebin New Bedford for a long weekend , visited it twice Friday night (4) & Sunday night(10). Both times great food & service. Chowder to die for, from appetizers, entrees, desserts & service everything was perfect. Our server Kramer was over the top on Sunday. Rating a strong 5 stars!!
Fish & chips were delicious cooked to perfection! The steamers were awesome as was the shrimp dish!
Was our first time here. It was a bit loud, but the service and food were excellent. For how busy it was, the food came out very quickly and it was hot. Our waitress Paula was excellent and the salmon spread was delicious. Can’t wait to go back.
Best Seafood restaurant i ever been to. When ever i visit this part of the world i try to go here at least a couple of times.
