SKIP THIS COMPANY. 2 months ago, the sales person told me confidently everything was taken care of when I tried on and sized my full tux rental. Completely left out the fact that my pants weren't ordered (or were "automatically left off"???). Now, instead of owning up to my experience and rushing pants to me, The Black Tux instructed me to "re-order" the pants by myself, and PAY for them, even though I was under the impression that I was originally paying for a FULL TUX LIKE I WAS SIZED FOR. Incompetent, unable to do basic tasks like "rent a tuxedo" which is concerning, considering they are a tux rental business.
I was able to schedule an appointment with 30min notice. When I got there, Damien was able to help me immediately and was very helpful. All the sizing and samples were near perfectly. They provided good guidance on navigating personal preferences.
I was the groom for my wedding recently, had 11 groomsmen, with a plan for everyone to wear a tux. 4 already had tuxes, so I had rentals for 7 of my groomsmen. All 7 went in store and had in-store measurements done by The Black Tux. HOWEVER, before the wedding when they garments shipped to everyone, 6 of 7 had issues with the tux outfit sent to them: - Groomsman #1 - one pant leg shorter than the other - got replaced, but second pair was also incorrect length - Groomsan #2 - one pant leg shorter than the other, tux suit too ... read more
Got pants that did not fit. No one answers the phone or responds to emails sent to support. Wedding is in a week and I need pants that fit. Horrible service once you pay and leave the store. Store does not pick up phone ever!!!!
