Attorney Barbra Black and her team were extremely attentive to me and my legal needs. As someone who was not familiar with what was ahead of me, Attorney Black took the time to educate and direct me every step of the way. Barbara Black is the best divorce lawyer I have used. She defended me and my family vigorously, intelligently and deftly. She won full custody of my children for me against long odds. She knows the laws and the ways of the probate court and uses that knowledge to full effect to help her clients. I endorse her as the best choice one could make when in need of an excellent advocate
These are not good attorneys. You will never feel like a high priority. If you’re going through an abusive situation and your ex is a hiding your child you’ll have to wait days for them to file an ex parte because your attorney will take that long to get back to you. They also are very skilled at keeping the strife between the parties alive and well. Don’t let the domestic violence accolades fool you. Stay far away from from attorneys who will charge an arm and a leg and still get nothing done for you.
Very rude legal assistant who attended the call for no reason. I had a good conversation with attorney Black and recommended a referral of her from legal ease (legal access company). I was very happy to move forward and called to confirm some details but had a very rude conversation with the person who picked up the call (not Katie). I usually don’t care but this was pretty bad.
