I’ve given birth here twice and both times the staff here were incredible. From labour and delivery to recovery I have always been treated very very well. I only ever had a small issue with one nurse and was able to quickly resolve it. Otherwise, everyone is extremely caring and knowledgeable. The anesthesiologist both times were kind and supportive, once for a epidural and the other for a c section. They made sure to talk me through everything before hand. Best surgeons and faculty, could not praise this hospital enough for there care when delivering my baby girl!
I received unbelievably poor care at The Birthplace while delivering my son. I was ignored, bullied, gaslit, and argued with throughout my labor and it nearly killed me. I am unable to have more children because of their negligence. I developed a Pseudoaneurysm at the top of my uterus during a vaginal delivery. I was lied to and not listened to when we specifically told them not to insert a monitor that was placed too high in my uterus.
