RecommendedI loved my prenatal, birth and postnatal experiences at the Birth Cottage. Adrian and Marissa were supportive, knowledgeable and extremely caring. If you are looking for a smooth, stress-free level of care, I would recommend the Birth Cottage. Baby girl was born 9/20/21 and it is an experience I will never forget for many reasons. I had my second baby at the Birth Cottage in Salem, and it was the most beautiful, peaceful, calm and empowering experience of my life! Adrienne is knowledgeable, compassionate, and highly experienced. She instills in the women under her care a sense of trust and confidence in their bodies' ability to do what they are designed to do - grow babies and give birth! (Well, our bodies can do much more, but you know what I mean.) I loved how her care aligned with my beliefs that childbirth is not a medical condition that requires hospitalization and numerous medical interventions. I had my daughter at the cottage in 2011 and I am incredibly grateful I had the cottage as an option. The setting is relaxing and peaceful and the midwives were wonderful. Being able to labor AND deliver in the birthing tub was absolutely the right choice for me and without the cottage I would not have been able to do so (unless I did a home birth and that wouldn’t have been covered by insurance).
As a former L&D nurse, I felt medically safe delivering my child at this center. I felt empowered in my own care and fully supported by the staff. I am so thankful for the support and the extra care they provided. I would highly recommend the Birth Cottage of Milford!
