Got my first haircut in nyc in 25 years The Bird House and couldn’t be happier. Not only did Michelle do a killer job (heard exactly what I wanted, was super easy to talk to), she gave me a cut that looked great the day AFTER - without me touching it. The left is walking out their door. The right is a full 24 weekend hours later. That’s the work of a genius ❤️ Oh. And did I mention I made the appt the night before??
Goldy is an incredibly talented and friendly stylist. She gave me a gorgeous haircut and did a consultation for a dye job. She did the initial base-cute while my hair was wet, and then shaped the layers while it was dry. Which helped remove all the split ends, without cutting off too much length.

Who HAVEN'T I told about The Bird House!? Far and away the best salon experience I've ever had, let alone in NYC. Brooke and her team are incredibly warm, talented women who want nothing more than for their clients to leave feeling beautiful. If you're unsure about investing in their services for the first time, know that these are haircuts that last months on end, growing out gracefully, and their high quality color that also lasts far longer than your average salon treatment when properly cared for.
