Very good experience! It has great location and easy free parking. Only $7 per hour for a road bike. I couldn’t get a bike for my size (5’1”) at another place since I am doing walk in but I got one here. I will rent here again next time I visit SF
Michael is wonderful! We bought two bikes from him for burning man and he got them ready, added a kickstand and basket, and changed the tires. The price was super reasonable, and he was very flexible on timing. He was a pleasure to deal with! I highly recommend The Bike Hut for purchasing or renting a bike :)
Solid local and nonprofit option. Only $26 for the day! Michael answered all of my questions over the phone, was proactive in adjusting the bikes for us or offering baskets / water cages, and locks for them. Will definitely rent again next time I'm in the city. We bike across to Golden Gate Park, Japantown and back with ease.
Absolutely ate it on my first bike ride just around the corner around 5:50pm, had two flats. Noticed this place was still open (closes at 6pm) and called. They said they could help me, so I rushed on over. Michael (the owner) and his friend were so kind. They gave me a few tips for fixing my flat and lots of additional advice as a beginner rider.
