We recently moved into the Shipyard community and it has been a mostly wonderful experience so far. Josh at ironstate is a wonderful leasing agent and has helped answer all our questions in a timely manner. Fabian and the whole concierge team at the Sovereign has been so warm and friendly when we pick up packages. The apartment itself is clean, updated and we can’t hear our neighbors at all. Our biggest issue is the maintenance process. It is very hard to get any repairs done and/or get in touch with maintenance staff.

I had an amazing move-in experience! The Ironstate team was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. Joshua Cordero, the leasing specialist, was instrumental in helping me find the perfect apartment building and unit that matched all my needs. Shipyard resident for 5 years. Started off great then as soon as Ironstate took over as management each year has gotten worse and worse. Poor management of the pool, constant amenity fee increases, completely ruined the Berkshire lobby, and crazy policies, especially in the last year, that push more restrictions without any security or benefit for the tenant. You will not get your security deposit back - I was charged $400 for a carpet stain when they rip up and replace the carpet anyway in between each move. The units are n... read more
