I moved in a week and a half ago. Upon arrival, I came to realize my unit was infested with cockroaches. Management sent an exterminator out, but as everyone knows, cockroaches don’t just go away. Several other tenants living here confirmed that they have seen roaches in their units as well. Management told me it takes 2 weeks for a colony to be killed off, and that the photos I have sent to them does not justify an infestation. We lived there about three years. Was never late on rent. Never had any complaints. Paid through Covid. The entire complex is infested with bugs. We put in multiple requests to fix the problem which went ignored. We submitted legal paperwork notifying our intent to vacate and under California law we’re totally clear to do so. After leaving, and the apartment keeping our security deposit, they have made up a 3k amount they’ve sent to collections and is impacting our credit in a very negative way. Totally disgusting place.
