We just installed the bed as we had some other changes to make to the flooring first. Installation was easy. This bed is very sturdy and well packaged. We ended up hiring someone to carry it to the 2nd story of our home. I love having the extra room to do my crafts when we do not have company.

Update 8-17-26. Almost 2 years after receiving the Murphy bed the finish is still off gassing a chemical odor. I am beyond frustrated with the odor. The maple Murphy Bed I received was designed well. However the finish on the front face is disappointing. Unlike the side faces that show the grain of the wood, the front face looks more like an opaque paint than stained wood. Excellent product. Excellent service. Excellent experience. I absolutely love my Murphy Bed from Bedder Way. It is beautiful and functional. Entire customer experience was wonderful. They even came out and uninstalled the bed when I got new flooring, and reinstalled it for me. They are just fantastic!! Highly recommend!!!
