The beautiful girl at the front desk was amazing, the communication was smooth, the room was nice, everything was nice. Historic buildings are great.
My husband and I chose this hotel because of its proximity to restaurants. There are lots of options to choose from. Chick fil a is right next door. Starbucks is across the street. Many restaurants are within walking distance. A couple restaurants are in the hotel as well. Staff was friendly. Front desk staff was super helpful with getting around the area and had print outs of local restaurants and bars and even some maps. The rooms were nice. Bed was comfortable. I bought a car in St Augustine and didn't want to drive straight though to Texas. I booked a room at the Battle House and it was amazing! The front desk upgraded me (I think) to a corner king suite. From valet to check in to dinner and check out, my stay was fantastic!
