Before getting a membership at The Barre Code -Shadyside, I tried various barre/fitness studios across the city, but always found myself back at the barre on S. Aiken. Amanda and Meredith lead a great team of instructors and CRs. They've created a welcoming unpretentious environment for all fitness levels. I have been going to The Barre Code Pittsburgh for 3 or 4 years now and love it just as much as when I joined. The diversity in the class options with great instructors is just one of the many reasons why I love going here. Even in COVID times they make you feel part of a community.
The Barre Code provides not only a great workout but a community! The instructors are all well trained, nice and welcoming. It was the activity / place I missed most from my weekly routine during COVID and I couldn’t be happier to be back!
I have been going to the studio since December and it has been the best thing I have ever done for my body. Within months I have never felt stronger or more confident in myself. The studio and the instructors promote body positivity and they all create such a welcome environment for people of all ages and abilities. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to find inner and outer strength and a new way to move your body!
