This is our 2nd time at the Barley Hound. Once again service was slow, yet they have abundant staff. Last time I had to go up to the bar to get my own refill. Our server was very sweet, but when we needed to send back one of the meals, we had already consumed the other due to the lack of attendance. The food was very.... different.... I can appreciate the eclectic menu, but offering a great steak would be welcomed. Extremely small portions for a $20+ a meal. we ate at this place Mothers day weekend (Saturday) food was cold, service was real bad.. took 23 minutes to get water.. then another 8 minutes for a drink order.. 4 servers on and not one could take our order or whose table we belonged to... was very crowded in the front. they would not open the back patio for other customers.. as a Chef of 23 years, I would never go back.

Loved our lunch!! Wanted something different....no more Mexican food. It gets old after awhile. This is such a great surprise...downtown. Loved sitting outside.
Had a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy the Barley Hound. Staff was friendly and their recommendation was spot on. Burger was amazing. Highly recommend!
