RecommendedGood food. We loved the duck fat fries. Service was flakey but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment of the outside seating the meal or the drinks. I want to try the setting in the winter to get a feel for the inside atmosphere.

The food was not very good. There were 4 of us & we each ordered a different item. My husbands pork chops & roasted potatoes were all dried out. My nieces Chicken was dry w/no flavor. My grandniece had a burger & that was dry also and flavorless. I had the shrimp & pasta which was ok—hot but not much other flavor. My niece & I didn’t feel well that night & think it had to with our food. Maybe we should have tried the dog food menu!?!
First visit to the Barley Hound. The food was good but the service left much to be desired. Waited at least 1/2 for our drinks. (I could have died of thirst on this hot summer day!) Excuse was there was only one bartender and he was "new"...however, I saw other customers that came AFTER us getting their drinks AND food orders. We didn't order anything fancy. Pork rinds for appetizers, I ordered a bowl of soup and every one else a burger. Still it took at least an hour to be served. Don't think I'll go back.
Good selection of beers on tap. Great back patio.
Pleasant outside seating, excellent bourbon old fashion, had trout-very tasty and staff very friendly and helpful!
