I’m a local and I haven’t eaten here in a couple of years because I was disappointed with my last experience...well today was worse. I ordered the roasted beet salad and what I received was the equivalent of 1 beet with a few sprigs of arugula. I asked the waitress if they could spare some more arugula and they brought out another half cup. I paid $15 for this salad. I know how much arugula costs. I know how much a beet costs. I know how much goat cheese costs. Overpriced and underwhelmed.

For all you locals that haven’t tried this place yet, shame on you. For those of you who come to visit Prescott, it’s time to step off the Square. This place is uniquely charming, very hip, and the menu is surprisingly delightful. The Barley Hound did not disappoint. I’ve got a new favorite. Oh, and dogs are welcome on the patio.
Right next door to the historic Hotel Vendome, 1/2 block from Whiskey Row and the Courthouse Plaza. We had cocktails and lunch, Guns and Rose’ and shrimp tempura toast. AWESOME
Best dinner since moving to Prescott! Great relaxing atmosphere!
